Sappada (sappadadolomiti.com) is a charming place at 1,250 meters above sea level, where you can be fascinated by paradisiacal landscapes. Sappada is a small big pearl in the Dolomites, with a tourism that has its roots at the end of the 1800s, a mountain with a thousand activities, where you can still taste the tradition, and have an unforgettable experience.

The event location is in the village of Cima Sappada (cimasappada.com). It is located at about 3.5 km from Sappada and offers the availability of ski, bob, walk, snowshoe and mountaineering slopes facilities. Tradition has remained a cornerstone of the development of the village.


How to reach Cima Sappada

By car:

From Veneto you can take the A27 Mestre-Belluno hughway until the last exit of Longarone (Pian di Vedoia), then continue to Pieve di Cadore. Near Auronzo di Cadore you turn off for S. Stefano and there for Sappada and Cima Sappada.

Those arriving from Friuli Venezia Giulia instead follow the A28 Palmanova-Tarvisio and exit at Carnia/Tolmezzo; then continue along the SS 52 which passes through Ovaro and Rigolato and Forni Avoltri until you reach Cima Sappada.

By train:

The nearest station is Calalzo di Cadore from which you can take a direct bus to Cima Sappada which takes about 1 hour; from Friuli, exit at the Carnia station and take a bus of the Sappada-Tolmezzo-Udine line to Cima Sappada.
